Vidor CN431 "Marquisa"
|Age||First released Februaury 1955|
|Service Data||Yes (Trader sheet 1217)|
|Comments||A battery mains portable of late 1950s design, covering long and medium waves. It uses an unusual mix of valves (DK92, DF91, DAF91, DL94), as well as a metal rectifier for mains use. The valvles in this kind of set are normally all of the same series (??91, ??96 etc), but the valves developed over a period of about 10 years, and this set is designed to use the best that were available at the time! The batteries were Vidor types L5536 for the High Tension (90V) and L5060 for Low tension (7.5 V).|
